Course Content
The course will examine different management models of educational institutions and how these affect the organization of learning environments. In this regard, the organizational models relating to scientist theories of work and humanist theories of human relations, methodologies and tools for assessing the skills of education professionals will be analyzed.

Learning Objectives
The objectives are declined on the basis of the Dublin descriptors:
1. Knowledge and understanding: Knowing and understanding the main aspects of organizational learning theories and learning organizations; learn about approaches and tools for assessing the skills of education professionals
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: Knowing how to recognize different organizational, managerial and evaluative models of educational organizations and the skills of education professionals
3. Making judgments: recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of different organizational models in education;
4. Communication skills: knowing how to expose the peculiar characteristics of an organizational model in education;
5. Learning skills: using tools for assessing the skills of professionals in educational institutions.
The training objectives contribute to developing the professional skills of the CdS.

Further information
This course is part of the blended teaching program provided by the University of Florence, it provides for a reduction of face-to-face lessons and an extension of remote asynchronous activities linked to the performance of a task.
The task that each student is required to carry out remotely concerns the construction of his/her own Portfolio, to be carried out exclusively using the form uploaded on the Moodle page of the course. The Portfolio must be uploaded in the appropriate folder always present on the Moodle page of the course, at least 15 days before the date on which the student intends to take the exam.
The construction of the Portfolio is a mandatory activity for all students, therefore those who have not completed the construction of the Portfolio in time will not be able to take the final exam.

Written exam: quetions with open answers and multiple choice
Test time: 60 min.
During the course will be carried out tests to prepare students to the final exam
The quality of Portfolios will be assessed with a score from 0 to 5 points which will be added to the score out of thirty obtained in the written test.
