Stage/internship
Starting from the second year the student can apply for an internship, which must not exceed a maximum duration of 12 months and must be arranged with the supervisor of the final thesis. After having checked the affiliated institutions (the list is available in the "St@ge on-line service" at the following link: http://sol.unifi.it/stage/stud_jsp/login.jsp), after having contacted an institution of his or her choice and having obtained the qualification from the Internship Office, the student must design the "Progetto di Formazione" ("training project" - further information [ITA]).
Please note: the stage/internship activity must be arranged with the supervisor of the final thesis and be consistent with the issues addressed in the dissertation. The function of university tutor is entrusted to the President of the Degree Course.
According to art. 3 of the Didactic Regulations introduced in the academic year 2014/15 the student can activate a second internship or opt for the continuation of the obligatory internship (equivalent to 3 CFU) for a number of hours equivalent to 6 CFU, replacing one of the two exams of his/her choice.
